Have you had a "Missionary Moment"?
Women's Connection within our local church can initiate and enhance missionary care. We can build greater connection with our missionaries and care for their needs by responding in practical and relevant ways. We can communicate through correspondence and e-mails. Remember them on their birthdays and other special holidays throughout the year. Just sending an "I"m thinking of you" card or a little note to let the missionary know that you are praying for them can be very encouraging to them. Inquire about their needs, ask what you can pray for and DO IT!
There are currently 2 women from Hi-Way Pentecostal Church who are working in the mission field.
Dorothy Klynstra, daughter of Mint and Dina Klynstra is serving in Thailand, working in a home for orphaned and physically handicapped boys. She is an occupational therapist and her goal is to improve the quality of life for these boys and where possible teach them life skills that will allow them more independence.

Kathy McDonald, sister of Jerry and Janice McDonald, works with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in the Central American country of Belize. She works with children and youth in this country to bring the message of the Gospel to them and over the years has adopted several children. One of her daughters has chosen to follow in Kathy's footsteps and is currently attending Bible College so that she too can reach out to the lost of the world as Kathy has done. Both of these ladies covet our prayers for them and below you will find their postal addresses as well as their e-mail addresses. Please write to them and encourage them by letting them know that we are interested in their work.
